\
Q: When I power up my computer running 1.0 (or 1.0a), I get just a gray screen. Why?\
\
Q: I have a 1.0 (or 1.0a) When I login as root, everything works fine. When I login as me, I get a blank screen. When I login as me to the console everything is fine. What's wrong?\
\
A: When you logged in as root, did you get an alert saying your disk was nearly full? If so, how full?\
\
If there is no free space left on the disk then only the super-user can log in. Make enough space that there's something available for normal users and all should be well.\
\
Note that under 2.0 you'll still be able to log in. You should see the "NO SPACE" message in the Workspace Manager's File Viewer.\
